This page explains how to permanently delete your Govt Jobs
Study Planner account and all the data linked to it.
Heads up: deletion is permanent. Once we delete your
account we cannot restore your schedule, bookmarks, mock-test history,
profile photo, or any other data tied to your sign-in.
How to request deletion
From the email address that's linked to your Govt Jobs: Mock Tests & Alerts
account (or from the email associated with your Google or phone
sign-in), send a message to:
Use the subject line "Govt Jobs: Mock Tests & Alerts — Account
deletion request".
Include the email or phone number that identifies your account so we
can locate it.
Optional: mention if you also want any of your previously emailed
support tickets to be deleted.
We will confirm your request, verify ownership of the account, and delete
the data within 30 days of receiving the request.
You'll get an email confirmation once deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following are removed:
Your Firebase Authentication account (email / Google / phone link)
Your profile (name, target exam, study-goal hours, reminder time,
notification preferences)
Your profile photo from Firebase Storage
Your daily-schedule tasks
Your bookmarks (notifications, current affairs, study materials)
Your mock-test attempts, answers, scores, and history
Your saved AI Doubt Chat conversations
Your FCM push-notification token
Any system messages you've received in the app
What may be retained briefly
The following may remain for a short, legally required period:
Anonymous analytics — aggregated, non-personal
Firebase Analytics events are kept for up to 14 months per Google's
standard retention policy.
Crash reports — Firebase Crashlytics records
that no longer reference your user ID are kept for 90 days for
stability monitoring.
Backup snapshots — Firestore automatic backup
snapshots may briefly contain your data; they roll over within 7 days.
None of the retained items personally identify you after deletion.
Removing the app vs deleting your account
Uninstalling the app removes it from your device but does not
delete your cloud-stored account or data. To erase all your data you must
send the deletion request described above.
